ARRIVAL: Please plan to arrive at Harman's between 3:30-5:00pm on Wednesday.
If your travel plans get you in earlier, consider a scenic drive or hike in the area.

Flights

RECOMMENDED AIRPORTS

Grant County Airport is a small airport in Petersburg, West Virginia located 9 miles from the resort.

Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 2 1/2 hours east of the resort.

Pittsburg International Airport(PIT) is 3 1/2 hours north of the resort.

Hagerstown Regional Airport (Hagerstown MD) is 2 1/2 hours north of the resort.

When making your travel plans, please
plan to arrive at Harman's between
3:30 -5:00 pm on Wednesday.
The retreat will conclude at approx. 9:00 am on Sunday after breakfast and our final gathering.

Ground Transportation

Please make your own ground transportation plans that best coordinate with your flight and travel needs.

If you would like to coordinate travel plans/ground transportation with others on the trip please reach out to us at info@AltarFlyFishing.org and we would be happy to share contact information with you.

Fishing License

Your adventure requires a West Virginia fishing license. Please purchase your license online in advance of your trip.
When purchasing your license please select:
- WV Fishing License
- Include the WV Conservation stamp
- Include the WV Trout fishing stamp (*may already be included with your license)
- Add the Harman's Fishing Pass

If you paid in full for your trip at the time of registration, thank you, you are all set.
If you paid your deposit at the time of registration, please follow the link below to pay your balance due no later than 30 days before your retreat.
All food, lodging, guiding fees and tips are included in your retreat fee.

Special Fishing Gear Discount. Risen Fly Shop will be your personal gear concierge and you will receive a 15% discount storewide if you are looking to purchase fishing gear before or after your retreat. Risen is a full-service fly shop located in Pennsylvania (not an online store). Just call and ask for Ryan and say you are with Altar.

NOTE: Gear is not required for your retreat. If you do not have gear of your own, Altar will equip you for your fly fishing experience including waders, boots, fly rods & reels as needed.
