Altar Fly Fishing is a Christian ministry that seeks to find unity in the classic and historic Christian faith that honors the foundations of all Christian traditions and denominations. What does that mean? It means that we stand firm on:
- The teaching of the Scripture (Old and New Testaments)
- God as Trinity--Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- The Saving work of Jesus on the cross bringing those who believe in Him into relationship with God.
- The need for a personal to respond to God's grace through Jesus as the one way people salvation.
- The promise of the Holy Spirit to fill and regenerate the soul for each person who responds to God's grace.
- Standing in the core beliefs outlined in the great creeds of the Christian Church (Apostle's and Nicene Creeds).
While there will be nuances in faith traditions, Altar seeks to stand firm on the essentials that binds the Christian faith together and builds their trips to honor many faith traditions so that each person can seek to grow in the knowledge of God and grow their faith in Him and in relationship with others.
